Books I love

I adore books. One might say I’m a little bit of a book hoarder. I love finding creative inspiration through reading and feeling uplifted and motivated. Here is a collection of some of my most beloved books. All these recommendations are books I personally own and have read time and time again.

Creative Business Planning

The Right-Brain Business Plan: A Creative, Visual Map for Success by Jennifer Lee

This book is awesome for all you aspiring creative entrepreneurs! I love all things business related and anything that involves creativity.  I am always trying to come up with business goals in a creative manner.  This book is a must read for anyone starting a business and needing a little jump start.

If you already have a business and want to stretch it even further than this book is the way to go.

Personal Development/Motivational

Awaken the Giant Within : How to Take Immediate Control of Your Mental, Emotional, Physical and Financial Destiny! by Tony Robbins

AMAZING!!! This book is life changing.  It is one of my top 5 favorites if not my number 1 favorite book of all time.  When I was a senior in college I came across this book.  I wanted to change my mindset and focus on the positive.  This book really helped me with positive thinking and looking for the good in all situations, even “the bad ones”.  It helps you believe in yourself and know that you can accomplish anything you put your mind too.  All in all this book is one to add to your collection and read over and over again.  When I find myself getting into negative patterns/thinking I revisit this book.

Manifesting/ Positive Thinking

Creative Visualization: Use the Power of Your Imagination to Create What You Want in Your Life by Shakti Gawain

I absolutely love this book.  I have probably read it 10 times.  It is great for a positive thinking pick me up.  She has fun meditation techniques and exercises to help you set goals and visualize the life you want.  She helps you write amazing affirmations.  I really can’t say enough good things about this book.

The Creative Visualization Workbook: Second Edition by Shakti Gawain

This is a great workbook to go along side the Creative Visualization book.  This workbook is kind of like a journal and summarizes the ideas in the book.  It has great exercises and techniques to help you clear negative thoughts, affirm positive ones, and helps you visualize the life you want.
